A Fairy Tale Panto Season for the Grand Pavilion

The curtain has closed on The Grand Pavilion pantomime for another year but the venue are already looking forward to their 2019 production which will be the ‘fairest panto of them all’, Snow White.

The reputation of the Grand Pavilion pantomime has grown over the last few years with the venue priding themselves on providing a high-quality production at affordable prices. Having broken box office records last year they were delighted to once again smashed targets with more than 17,000 people from the local area attend the panto over the festive period.

Richard Hughes, Chief Executive of Awen Cultural Trust said “we are delighted that Sleeping Beauty proved to be such a great success. We were exceptionally proud of the production and of all the talented people who brought it to life.”

Steve Boden from Imagine Theatre who produce the panto says “It may only be February but plans for Snow White are already underway. Panto does take a lot of planning, from working out schedules and designing artwork to choosing sets and costumes, and of course the casting. For the majority of people panto is just for Christmas but for us it is all year round!”

Snow White is on sale now and runs from Friday 13 December 2019 until Sunday 5 January 2020. With many of the performances selling out each year it is advised that you booked as early as possible for this fairy tale production.
