Come and join us for the fairest pantomime of them all this festive season with the magical fairy tale Snow White.

After the Magic Mirror declares Snow White to be the fairest in all the land the Wicked Queen is sent into a jealous rage. Will her friends be able to save Snow White from the Queen’s wrath and will they all be able to live happily ever after?

Once again The Grand Pavilion will have all the ingredients for a perfect family panto, with a dastardly villain, a hapless comic and a hilarious panto dame, as well as spectacular sets and costumes, fabulous songs and dances and bags of slapstick fun!

Junior Ensemble Auditions

Do you love to dance? Do you love to perform? If so come along to our open auditions to find young dancers for our spectacular family pantomime Snow White.

Auditions are being held on Wednesday 4 September 2019 at the Grand Pavilion, Porthcawl.

The auditions are open to all children aged 9-16 who are in schools years 4-11.*

Auditions start at 5.30pm with registration from 5pm

You don’t need to be part of a dance school or have any experience, this is a great opportunity for you to get involved and appear live on stage at the Grand Pavilion.

A Fairy Tale Panto Season for the Grand Pavilion

The curtain has closed on The Grand Pavilion pantomime for another year but the venue are already looking forward to their 2019 production which will be the ‘fairest panto of them all’, Snow White.

The reputation of the Grand Pavilion pantomime has grown over the last few years with the venue priding themselves on providing a high-quality production at affordable prices. Having broken box office records last year they were delighted to once again smashed targets with more than 17,000 people from the local area attend the panto over the festive period.

Richard Hughes, Chief Executive of Awen Cultural Trust said “we are delighted that Sleeping Beauty proved to be such a great success. We were exceptionally proud of the production and of all the talented people who brought it to life.”

Steve Boden from Imagine Theatre who produce the panto says “It may only be February but plans for Snow White are already underway. Panto does take a lot of planning, from working out schedules and designing artwork to choosing sets and costumes, and of course the casting. For the majority of people panto is just for Christmas but for us it is all year round!”


Snow White is on sale now and runs from Friday 13 December 2019 until Sunday 5 January 2020. With many of the performances selling out each year it is advised that you booked as early as possible for this fairy tale production.
