Getting here

The Grand Pavilion is located on the seafront of Porthcawl. All approaches have brown and white leisure amenity signposting, making it very easy to find. Other landmarks next to the Grand Pavilion are One Stop mini supermarket and the Seabank Hotel.

Located on the promenade with easy ‘drop-off points’ and two pay and display car parks nearby. The Grand Pavilion does have a very small car park with a disabled parking space and these are on a first come first serve basis. There is also a free car park after 6pm just off Mary Street and is only a two minute walk to the venue.

Art and culture is for everyone. But if you have an impairment or a specific access requirement, getting to see it isn’t always easy. Often, visiting a theatre or an arts centre can be more complicated than just booking tickets and choosing what to wear. Hynt is a national scheme that works with theatres and arts centres across Wales to make things clear and consistent.

The Grand Pavilion is a part of the Hynt scheme as we believe it offers our disabled customers the very best practice in fair ticketing policy and accessibility. Hynt cardholders are entitled to a ticket free of charge for a personal assistant or carer at the Grand Pavilion and all the theatres and arts centres participating in the scheme.

Visit to find a range of information and guidance about the scheme, to find out whether you or the person you care for are eligible to join the scheme or to complete an application form. Alternatively, please contact our Box Office on 01656 815995 to speak to a member of staff about Hynt at the Grand Pavilion.

There will be a security presence in the building throughout the evening who are responsible for bag checks and the safety of all patrons in the building.  Customers are not allowed to bring in alcohol and we ask all guests to be mindful and respectful of other patrons attending the show and not to use any flash photography during the performance.  We reserve the right to refuse entry to any guests.
